Report Problem

Welcome to Weekly 37, we are already getting into the end of January. No pressure though! We take the time to make sure every single frame of this film will be unforgettable.

Nathan will be back to the studio next week, and in the meantime he keeps working on the Barber reveal shot. Once again, you can find Hjalti's feedback on it in the weekly folder.

Hjalti focused on the shot where we see Barber for the first time. We needed to convey a number of beats and answer some questions with it (what's his mental state? Is he angry, brainwashed, etc.) and Hjalti came up with a memorable pose for it!

Next to that, he continued on another shot, where Agent reveals one of his secret powers: clumsily breaking stuff around him by accident!

Beau presented a soon-to-be-final poster featuring the henchmen. Looking through his visual notes (also provided by Andy and Kjartan) and see the various iterations feels very rewarding.

Beau

Andy worked on prepping more animated shots for final renders. Next week they will go into the render farm, and thanks to our new Supercharged Cycles, they will come back in no time.

Andy

Kjartan polished Wu Manchu even further, adding layers of make-up, wrinkles and fingernail guards, bringing to the next level of creepiness.

Kjartan

That's all for this week. See you next time, over.
