Another week goes by! We get older, but wiser. You can tell from the quality and amount of artwork produced.
Kjartan has tackled more character work, pushing forward Wu Manchu, the henchmen and one brand new character! In the weekly folder you can see a video showcasing a morphing between 5 character variations for the henchmen, all based on the same model, but with custom texture maps, shaders and shape keys .
Andy prepared more shots for animation (now all files are anim-ready), did some more shot renders and worked on a bruised and injured version of the Barber.
Nathan is back in the studio! He worked on... More animation! In particular, three shots at the end of the fight scene!
Hjalti kept working on a pivotal fight shot and exploring upcoming tricky situations in the fight.
Pablo spent a few days on Flamenco and Blender Cloud, which are now more beautiful and usable than ever. Then he shifted gear and added layers upon layers of details to the exteriors opening sequence. This process will continue for a few more weeks, but the improvements are already visible.
Francesco wrote some scripts to analyze EXR metadata from rendered frames and generate some line charts for render time predictions. Also, he wrote a little script to generate movie previews from EXR sequences.
That's it. For real!
Cool! So, the movie is done right? Does it release in theatres?
