Report Problem

Last week we had an interesting deadline: the Cartoon Movie event in Bordeaux. This forced the animation and render team to get the mid section of the short rendered on a consistent level of quality.

This means that pretty much everyone was focused on polishing the last 1% of shots that were already looking good. Now they look great.

At the same time Colin locked the final part of the layout. Exciting!

Next to that, Andy worked on the sequence when Agent enters the barbershop and meets Barber for the first time.

Hjalti, Nacho and Nathan have been working on a mix of shot fixes, CBB (Could Be Better) and new ones, with the goal of wrapping up the whole fight sequence the following week.

Kjartan presented some awesome progress on the underground lair, which involves the shots in the elevator shaft and the initial reveal of Wu Manchu and the henchmen.

Happy birthday Blender Cloud!

Last week it was Blender Cloud's 3rd birthday! We celebrated with a new episode of the Bender Institute Podcast and the creation of the about page. Check it out for a reminder of everything that happened until today.

See you next week!
