Can you give us a short (prop) texturing workflow for Caminandes(, Andy)? What kind of maps are used? (Normalmap, Bumpmap, Colormap, Roughnessmap, ... ). What software are they done in? Do you work more with projections or clean UVs? :D
Any chance of getting Nathan Vegdahl back for Humane Rigging 2?
Thanks for answering! :)
Hey guys,
I have followed an interesting debate between Andrew Price and Jason Van Gumster on twitter about the benefits of creating artworks on a daily basis. Do you guys do these kind of challenges ? And more generally speaking, how much do you draw in your daily life ? Are some of you compulsive drawers, always with a pen and a sketchbook ? :)
Cheers !
Hola!! Since you guys were talking about the Good Dinosaur movie, what are your thoughts or comments on Sanjay's Super Team short movie? Another question for Sarah and Hjalti, when you do some animation tests to study a character before animating, what are your main concerns or what are you focusing on? What animation exercises do you recommend to study a character? Amazing work from last week! Thanks!
What do you recommend in doing once you have completed a short film using blender? I come to the end of the project and just get lost on what to do with what I have accomplished
Can I have my cloud shaken, not stirred? Also thank you so much for recording this, you all sound so professional.
Will we ever get some Compositing nodes in the materials section, for example "blur" and the "keyer"?
Will the studio there continue to create short films while Blender 2.8 is being created? Will this be problematic?
What are your hopes for 2.8, will it bring a new kind of User Experience and way of working? Or will it just be a more polished version of what we have now?
I'm sorry, I don't know how to ask this in a compact form, so I'll just throw the spaghetti at the wall. When animating, how does the story inform what animation techniques you use? And when? Does the story board get you thinking about how you will make a character, for instance, swoon, at a certain point? Does the finished model and rig revise your decisions? Do you start thinking of animating techniques when discussing a general outline of a story? (Put another way: So that creativity thing. What's the deal with that?)
Hey guys
