Hi !
I would like to know how many of you are interest in directing a movie ? Pablo is obviously already a director, but what about Andy, Hjalti, Francesco... ? Do you see yourself directing a short in the future ?
On some level, I see a parallel between BlenRig and Blender itself. Both are exceedingly complete and complex tools, primarily for artists and creative people, and both have a pretty steep learning curve. I'm not even sure what conclusions, if any, to draw from that. It's just that I was struck by the similarity of their scopes.
@britalmeida: Your question brings back a memory for me of someone I knew 20 years ago who was colorblind. I was tasked with using Photoshop to change the color of a couch in a photograph to match another piece of furniture. I failed miserably, but my color blind friend took a shot at it, and did it perfectly, flawlessly. He was able to objectively change the RGB numbers as needed without the distorting bias of what he thought he should be seeing. I was very impressed by that.
