Thanks for the upcoming blender-scripting-training!
Love the show thank you. I notice that there seem to be display layers for eevee if so can these be sent seperately to the compositor with appropriate alpha channels to combine them? Eevee also has depth of field blur and glow as a screen effect but could we see blur and blend types like add or multiply in Eevee materials so they affect transparency in view? Like layer effects in photoshop or compositor.
Finally have any of you been to Micropia display in Amsterdam? It sounds fascinating I heard about iton the radio in Australia.
Hey Guys, great podcast!, I'm glad you're having fun and such... did I missunderstand or Hjalti was doing some sort of short?... looking forward to it.
It was nice to be able to hangout with Pablo during Mundos, he was a star!
Also, during Pepe-School-Land we had to create a bunch of animations, and for the final project many of us chose to do our animations with characters from the cloud, some used the agent and Boris, others used the barber, Victor, Vincent, the henchmen, the victim and even Oti was used... I hope you get to see all this little short pieces soon.
So I want to encourage you to on the one side put more good stuff in the Characters library, get all the characters made for every film you've done available and hopefully polished... them being available encourages animators to want to use blender too.
In the other hand If possible bringing characters like big buck bunny, and maybe the characters from elephant dreams to a better more polished and standardised rigs might help... maybe with help from Daniel, since the characters from the agent were cool but really painful to use (slow, too all over the place with the controllers)... maybe a bit overdone?-
I don't know if I mentioned this before but I loooooved the agent, and I'm crossing my fingers for the feature budget to come along soon so you guys can make that film come true.
Yeah, really no questions from me, more like congrats, and keep it up.
@luciano: Thanks for the kind words Luciano! We will definitely keep in mind your suggestions (especially regarding the characters library). And indeed, Hjalti and Andy are working on a little animation :) More news about it soon.
Hello guys, just have a quick question and that is what are the plans for the Blender Game Engine? Is it going to stick around or is it going to get dropped. I would love to start getting into creating a game, and would like to stick to what I know...ish
@Markom3D: The BGE future is not very clear yet, but it will certainly have to undergo some changes in order to take advantage of the current Blender development. Go ahead and great your game, it will always be valuable knowledge :)
