Report Problem

We just wrapped up the second week of (pre)production. Layouts are done, the animatic is very promising, and the first render tests from Andy are astonishing. We're off to a good start of real production!

In the past we'd do our weeklies and stream them live. This leads to very long (+1hr!) videos that are not as fun to watch, and the team to not give each other so much feedback in the end because we knew it was live streaming and didn't want to bother our viewers. This time we're trying to do shorter weeklies for our supporters, walk around with the camera, edit it in a ~7 mins video down to the point and that are easy to share. It takes extra time but we think it's worth it. Let us know if you like it in the comments below.

As teaser, here's a quick render test from Andy (made in 1 day of work!): Andy's Test

Checkout the weekly videos below, and then jump on to the project page to get a closer look at the goodies and even checkout the latest edit of course full of spoilers!

Second Weekly - 13 Nov 2015

First Weekly - 06 Nov 2015

Hope you like our progress so far. We're super excited about this episode of Caminandes, the whole team is involved in the story, characters arc, layout, everything! We're learning and hope to document this process as much as possible on the Blender Cloud as we finish.

This wouldn't be possible without the support of Blender Cloud subscribers, so thank you so much for believing in us.

♥, you're llamazing.

Do you have any plans on recording the dailies? I sure hope so because I really enjoyed watching the glass half dailies.

Hi Tobias! We're not doing dailies yet, since animation just started. Also, in Glass Half there were 3 animators, in Caminandes there are only 2 (Sarah & Hjalti), and they sit in front of each other :) But if we start doing it we'll definitely record them and upload here on the Cloud.

Thanks for your support!
