We're proud and happy to announce the premiere of the short film "Glass Half", directed and written by Beorn Leonard and made by the Blender Institute team. The film tells the story of two amateur art critics who argue passionately about the pieces they see in a gallery. The film was made to explore storytelling using real time cartoon shading in the Blender viewport. The result is fantastic, we hope you like it as much we do!
In Blender Cloud - for our subscribers - we have the original films and the production files ready to download. And a lot more - tutorials and the 'flexrig' system will be added next week.
Ton Roosendaal, producer.
This was great! I'd say mission accomplished because without even understanding a word said I could completely follow this story. The animation/pantomime was excellent. The story was simple and clear, but still engaging and funny. As well as the characters. Well done.
Awesome!
