Today the Blender Cloud team, together with Daniel M. Lara and his team, are proud to present Hero, a mind-blowing 3 minutes short film showcasing Blender's upcoming Grease Pencil 2.0.
Congratulations to Daniel and his team in Barcelona for competing the very first animated short with Blender 2.8! Of course, this would not be possible without the global Grease Pencil team (Antonio Vazquez, Matias Mentiola and Joshua Leung).

Is there a film-poster?
I have all the other ones on the wall in my office - would be nice if Hero could be there too ;-)
@Simon Lohmann: Unfortunately there is no poster for the film yet. If we get one I'll let you know!
I hope there were some more walkthroughs and tutorials to help others understanding the grease pencil. The 2D artists who are new to 3D or blender will need the complete refresh walkthroughs to get started with the grease pencil.
@ravi: A complete Grease Pencil training is being produced right now! Since Blender 2.8 is still in Alpha it wasn't smart to start making tutorials because the interface would change. Now it's a bit more stable. Expect the training before the end of the year.
