Welcome to our Spring weekly report! Since character rigging for Spring is almost complete, we got to see initial animation tests from Pablo F. and Hjalti. It's always exciting to witness the moment where characters come to life for the first time!

Both Julien and Andy have been busy producing assets, such as the furniture and furnace inside of the hut, as well as the hut itself and the environment around it. This is particularly important in preparation for the first pass of layout, which will start very soon.
At the end of the week, Andy spent some time exploring a new workflow for hair and cloth simulation. The core idea is to use a hierarchy of bones, empties and simulate cloth meshes to bake a simulation and transfer it to the deform bones. So far the results have been very interesting.
On the concept art side, David upload a new artwork where he explores the environment outside the hut just after Spring wakes up. Read more about his process on the asset page.
