The adventure of Spring continues, and it's already February! This week the team continued their work on character development and we go the first pass of layout on the first sequences.
While Julien continued his work on texturing and shading Spring (which involved a few technical acrobatics between rig file and production file), Andy started creating some environment props, such as grass and rocks.
Both Hjalti and Pablo Fournier started transitioning the storyboards into a 3D layout. Figuring out the first cameras, how they work on the sets, the rhythm, it's both fun and time consuming! Nevertheless, almost 2 minutes worth of footage were produced, and you can see a glimpse of the process in the Previsualization folder.
Finally, in the 3rd episode of Blender Cloud live (our YouTube live weekly streaming, where we share Cloud updates and announcement) Andy joined Pablo and Francesco to talk about the progress of Spring.
