Report Problem

Let's celebrate the beginning of Spring here in Amsterdam with with another weekly production report! For the big picture: Andy went through the edit and applied some pretty radical changes. The result? The film is now 2 minutes shorter. No joke.

Julien is working on final tweaks to high profile assets, such as the staff, which combined with the chime is a very important tool in the hands of Spring. He also did some high resolution renders of the rocks, which will be placed across all sets.

Next to the edit, Andy continued his work on the Alpha. We don't talk much about these mysterious creatures but you can catch a glimpse of them in the Character development folder.

Finally, Pablo F. has been working on an test animation for Autumn. These kind of tests are vital to spot issues in the rigs and start developing the personality of a character.

If you did not see it yet, check out this video by Hjalti on the Pose Library and Selection Sets add-ons and his workflow. The Pose Library is a tool developed originally by Jasper van Nieuwenhuizen and further extended by our own Dr. Sybren!

See you next time!

@Luke D_C: Planning is very "fluid". We do weekly planning on paper and keep track of assets and shots with Attract. We have plans to integrate gantt and kanban views for tasks in Attract in the near future.
