Cat is an engineer. That means he solves problems. But not problems like "What is beauty?". He solves practical problems.
This character requires exactly Blender 3.6, and may break on lower or higher versions!
For instructions on how to use the character, simply download and open the file in Blender 3.6. You'll be greeted with a ReadMe with some useful tips for getting started with animating, lighting, and rendering this rather complex character.
The character is free to use, provided that the you respect the CC-BY license and include the credit: Cat Rig (CC-BY) Blender Foundation | studio.blender.org
wait is the description a reference to tf2?
@Malik Dodin yes
Read me file doesn't help, file opens in Pose Mode. Link/Append the file I opened to the file that's open? Have to switch to obj mode to access the Object -> Relations -> Make Library Override and Make Library Override is grayed out. Please put helpful instructions somewhere for us, the read me doesn't actually make sense.
@Dakota Good point, thanks! It should be clarified that those steps are actually only necessary if you want to link the character into another file, which is not really necessary.
You can very well just ignore all of those instructions and start animating in the file as it is! In fact, your life will be a lot easier that way! :D
@Demeter Dzadik Following your instructions above doesn't help. I opened the scene in 3.6.2 just now and accepted tge Python Scripting prompt but the pose library seems to have little or no effect on the character. Cheers Nigel
@Nigel Haslam Hey! I think you have to make sure all bones are de-selected, otherwise the pose library only affects selected bones. Let me know if that helps.
@Demeter Dzadik yes thanks
