This is a pack of six minor characters: The bird, the ladybug, the snail, the chunky snail, the butterfly and spider, making up all the forest animals seen on Sprite Fright!

Notes on how to use the character

  1. Put your 3D cursor in the Origin of your scene. Choose File > Link and browse the character file
  2. Go to the Collections and select CH-(name creature). Make sure "Instance Collections" is enabled. Press Enter.
  3. The Collection should appear instanced in the Viewport. Select it.
  4. Choose Object > Library Override > Make.

If you have run into any problems, let us know in the comments below. If you make something cool with these characters, make sure to show it to us!

@safaa Hi, sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The bird only has one style for its eyes and its body.

when I import the characters, Library override > make, viewport fps gets extremely low as well, anyway to fix this?

@Kurt Reodica I would also recommend disabling or excluding the bird.hair collection in the viewport to address this issue. That seems to be the only case where I can get a performance hit in my testing in 3.6, but even that is not too crazy on my end.

Hi when I import the bird model, I get black lines around its body. How to fix this? :)

@Kurt Reodica Disabling the bird.hair collection for viewport visibility should take care of that.

@vijithasenadeera119 Hey, it's hooked up to the scale of ACT-Wing_Fold.L/R, the big green control on top of each wing.
