This robot stands between Einar and the life-saving battery he needs to retrieve in the open movie Charge. Although armed with a detachable cannon, this unit was designed for general purpose tasks throughout the factory. At the end of the day, it's just following its programming.
This character requires at least Blender 3.5, and WILL NOT WORK on lower versions! Grab it here!
Notes on how to use the character
- Put your 3D cursor in the Origin of your scene. Choose File > Link and browse the character file
- Go to the Collections and select CH-security_bot. Make sure "Instance Collections" is enabled. Press Enter.
- The Collection should appear instanced in the Viewport. Select it.
- Choose Object > Library Override > Make.

after changing it from normal to gun how do i get th gun to appear?
@jacob harmer If I remember correctly, the best way to do this is to use the pose in the pose library that puts the robot into the default pose with the gun enabled.
