For Blender 2.8 Cycles Render

Franck from "Cosmos Laundromat" in his caterpillar form.

Notes on how to use the character
  1. Put your 3D cursor in the Origin of your scene. Choose File > Link and browse the character file
  2. Go to the Collections and select CH-Franck_caterpillar. Make sure "Instance Collections" is enabled. Press Enter.
  3. The Collection should appear instanced in the Viewport. Select it.
  4. Choose Object > Relations > Make Proxy...
  5. In the list, select RIG-caterpillar. If the model is too heavy, enable Simplify in the Render Settings.
  6. Pose the proxy armature to your liking and enjoy!

The "yellow rings" of the armature are not working!

@m_diesing Hey. I checked it out, and I found bones named spine_15 through spine_28 that indeed didn't do anything. But neither were they meant to do anything, they were just remnants of an old rig that should've been deleted. I updated the file and those controls are now gone.

That said... those controls were red, not yellow. So I'm not 100% sure if this is what you meant. The controls that I'm seeing as yellow seem to be working. Keep in mind bone group colors can be affected by your theme settings.
