For Blender 3.4x Eevee and Cycles Render
Koro the Guanaco from "Caminandes: Llamigos"
This version includes:
- Improved shading using Principled BSDF
- Eevee compatibility eyes and fur
- Adjusted bone groups
- Made most of the rig settings 'Library overridable"
Notes on how to use the character
- Put your 3D cursor in the Origin of your scene. Choose File > Link and browse the character file
- Go to the Collections and select CH-Koro.High. Make sure "Instance Collections" is enabled. Press Enter.
- The Collection should appear instanced in the Viewport. Select it.
- Choose Object > Library Override > Make.
- If the model is too heavy, enable Simplify in the Render Settings or in pose mode, select the cogwheel properties bone and lower the model resolution.
- Pose the model to your liking and enjoy!
To enable viewport display of Koro's fur (the fur is always visible in final rendering), do the following:
- Make sure you are in pose mode of RIG-Koro
- Select the properties bone (cog wheel shape)
- In the sidebar (Nkey panel) set the property fur_particles to 1.

This rig is awesome.
Hi, idk why but both versions of the rigs open fine for the first time, but when i close and relaunch blender, the rig suddenly bends the head all the way back on the x local axis (all by itself) . Ive tried all the controllers but i cant get it back to the default pose. When i move the whole rig with the master the head rotates as if its part of an ik chain. I'm just so confused, any help would be great. Thanks!
@Jonathan Mbau sorry to hear you're having issues. I have tried Blender 3.4 and 3.6 and tried to replicate the steps you mentioned, but have none of the issues. Does this happen if you disable all the addons or factory reset Blender? You haven't animated a bone/parameter that could cause this? Does it happen if you link the rig into a new Blender file and override>save>relaunch Blender?
@Beau Gerbrands Yes, the issue still occurs after disabling addons and resetting blender. It appears to only happen when i link the rig. It works pretty fine when i append it so ill just do that instead.
