I am enjoying the tutorials, very well structured. I have not really spent that much time looking at Grease Pencil, but what I have seen is pretty amazing. Bring 2D and 3D elements together is real a game changing way of working. I briefly used Toonboom a few years ago and was playing around with the stage elements, but nothing compared to this. Using 3d object as reference like you said helps speed up the workflow when drawing complex objects. I did your bouncing ball tutorial, I have been trying to animate a jumping frog in perspective, jumping towards the viewer, it occurred to me that you could use the bouncing ball sequence, just viewed from a three quarter view as a reference for the timing and size of the body of the frog. Also as a side note - your character design is superb, you make the animation process look effortless (which we all know is the sign of a true master). Thanks for take the time to put these tutorials together they are much appreciated.
This course is difficult to understand. There is no reply.
@a.yuyus.52419211 try harder, and play the videos on 0.75 speed. it will work :)
amazing
hi Sensei! i am a Beginner! Sorry for the dummy question! How did you introduced the 3D object?
*@Henrique Cerqueira* Go to 3D Design Mode and create a 3D default object '
*@PRABHURAM SELVAN* then how do you get back to draw mode after that???
Yes, I’m having the same issues. Once I have a 3D object in my work area, the DRAW option is not available anymore. #edit. It seems you have to add another Grease Pencil object to enable the DRAW mode again. *@1markchughes1966*
*@Noli San Jose* yep, It's actually in the video, the mention goes by quick. I watched it a couple of times and he did add a draw object to the scene. I have it templated now so grease pencil opens that way with the object already added.
*@Henrique Cerqueira* You can return to "Draw Mode" after drew the mesh cube on "Object Mode", if you first select the stroke object in the Scene Collection. That make reaperce the "Draw Mode" in the list of modes.
