Animators Assemble!

Now that the rigs are getting more refined, we can gear up animation production cycles. This process usually starts a bit slow and picks up in speed as people get more familiar with the characters. All while shots files need to be built to feed the anim department.

This week my main task was feeding the animation machine (Hjalti, Pablico and Rik) with a steady stream of shot files. I also got started working on One's internal dome structure model.

This week I worked on the first "big" character shot where we get introduced to the main character Critter. Work on this shot needed to coincide with rig testing and feedback, which often meant 2 steps forward followed with 1 step backwards but now we have a stronger rig and can move onward with animation.
