For Blender 2.8x Eevee and Cycles Render
Proog from "Elephants Dream"
Notes on how to use the character
- Put your 3D cursor in the Origin of your scene. Choose File > Link and browse the character file
- Go to the Collections and select CH-Proog. Make sure "Instance Collections" is enabled. Press Enter.
- The Collection should appear instanced in the Viewport. Select it.
- Choose Object > Relations > Make Proxy...
- In the list, select RIG-Proog. If the model is too heavy, enable Simplify in the Render Settings.
- Pose the proxy armature to your liking and enjoy!

hi, I'm trying to animate on this rig and it seems super old. Is there a way to enable IK and FK?
@David Domingues delete the rig from this character and then go to https://www.mixamo.com and get it rigged.
Hi I try to link it but nothing happened !!!
victor works but without hair, I don't know why !
@abdullh_37 Hey, it's probably better to post these questions directly on the asset you're having problems with. That way we can better follow up on the issue. :)
Having said that, did you try to do this step mentioned in the description of Victor:
No sorry I didn't focus in the notes it's work now but still victor without hair
What does "4. Choose Object>Relations>Make Proxy..." mean? Choose where? I selected Collection... then what? "Choose Object?" What object? The folder that says "Object"? Do I click AWAY from Collection and Click Object? What was the point of clicking Collection in the first place? And inside the "Object folder there is no "Relations>Make Proxy" option/
