An introduction to Blender. Get up and running with Blender in no time with all you need to know for animation.
Note: This video is based on Blender 2.47, so even though many things haven't changed, the interface might confuse you a bit :)
It's mainly meant for beginners, I'd suggest to move on to the next videos! If you really want to use it, you can always travel back in time to 2008 and download Blender 2.47.

Do you need blender 2.47 to do this tutorial or can it be done on the newest version?

@paulgan13: I would say that most, if not all of the mentioned functions and shortcuts should work in the current version of blender.

New to Blender the interface has changed too much to follow and yes I did read the description. Just adding my own feedback.

@diljaljaiga: I'm sorry to hear you don't enjoy what we're offering. I also don't understand what you mean with "everything outdated". After all, I spent hours creating the Dutch HDRi landscape pack, which we added just last Friday. The BlenRig tutorials were made very recently too. All our characters in the Character Library were updated so they work with Cycles on recent Blenders, even when the characters themselves were years old.
