It looks that is easy to fix with the UV's. I've experienced the same once with a model of mine. I think it's because the Blender version.

@Forgotten Fantasies: thanks for reporting the error, I totally missed it. Today I even reported it as a bug, but it seems like it's a drawback of some other fixes that were made after 2.73: https://developer.blender.org/T48110
Anyways, I have fixed the file and replaced it, it should be better now!

@Forgotten Fantasies: nothing fancy, I just moved all the vertices along the seam inwards, that's all!

This tutorial is just mandatory to follow!. I set myself to do it with no more delay! thanks a lot for showing every step like this ! I can do it and have my dragon too! :)
