For those of you who have already been animating for a while, I'll be discussing more about the thought process behind animating toon characters. If you are just learning how to animate, feel free to listen along.
Very interesting demo of a part of your skills Dillon, thanks a lot to share all this with us ! I'm not sure if it is because I'm not English fluent nor if I'm not Blender skilled enough, but as a beginner I guess I will have to come back to re-do this animation tutorial after more time passed on more basics ones to push my skills and to be more comfortable with this huge piece of software.
BTW the blend file given within the assets seems to have an issue with an "auto-run disabled", and I'm stuck with it since it opens as this within the 2.79b version of Blender : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bBkd17snuSa3D27d6TIqzFIbx3Lt2f-b/view?usp=sharing In the mean time 'reload trusted / revert' gives the plain image. Maybe a Blender user will know what to do with this, but it is not yet my case.
Anyway, thanks, thanks, and thanks again :)
This was spectacular, thank you!
great tutorial ;-)
Great course i really enjoyed it, would it be possible to teach us that complex fight sequence
When will we get an action animation tutorial for the snowman?
Hi Dillon, I enjoyed this course a lot but to be honest the final fighting scene is what I'm here for :) Is there any chance you could share your scene blend file so we could have a look into it? That would be really helpful. Kind regards, Mateusz
OMG.... the scene is soo incredible, please make a tutorial on those effects (motion blur, depth of fields, slow motion and that fast blur speed effect)
Okay. I want to see more of this. How do I let the Blender Cloud know? :-) I want to know how to go from creating a walk cycle to setting up an action scene with multiple elements and various camera and character actions to animate a complete sequence in this style. Great tutorial series. It was basically what finally caused me to get that subscription to the cloud.
