In this video we'll be creating the bone setup for the nose, consisting of the nose base, nostrils and nose bridge. We'll also be creating a simple 'nose follow' setup that is adjustable for the animator.
My character has a longer and more realistic nose, I wanted to add another nose bridge bone, however I’m not sure which bone it should follow, the str-face_low or str-face_up? It’s more like it should follow both bones, taking 50% of the upper and lower. How I’m supposed to achieve that ?
5:15 So. The copy rotation modifier was not enough to get the nose to stay put. So I added a Limit Rotation set at -5 to 5. And. Reduced the Copy Rotation Modifier influence to .3 to keep just enough wiggle when talking or moving.
Can someone hint to me why when i add copy transforms i can't pick a bone, it gives me warning that "Selection is not a bone. Armature needs to be in Pose Mode or Edit Mode to pick in the 3D Viewport"
@Nemanja Jevtic it was x-ray issue, i wasn't able to pick a bone through a mesh
It's so cool seeing how it slowly comes all together, I'm trying to get this rig to work on one on my characters and am excited to watch him move!
