Here is what I have right now. small question: The head and the hand both have way more definition than the rest of the body. is it bothersome for later or not? I merged them with booleans instead of remesh because my computer would be dead for sure if I increased the number of polygons again.

*@calmels.gaelle* Awesome! Yeah I usually leave the hands, head or even feet separate for that reason. Only right in the end to I merge them.

I share my result on this part. I used boolean for hands with smoth brush. My polycount is around Verts:1,250,000, Faces 2,500,000, tris: 2,500,000, Is it a lot?I feel that grab the brush in the newest versions (2.83) has nice falloff.

*@Artur Machura* Good job! yeah the brushes got some overhauls in the most recent versions.
2.5 M is pretty good. As long as you are not relying too much on dyntopo this should be still smooth to work with.

Hi Julien amazing work, thank you! just a quick question. How can I join the stylized head with the body without loosing any detail in the face? Also, is there any release date for the clean retopology section? Thanks!

*@sfbedu* To not lose any detail on the face you need to increase the resolution. So merging the entire body with the head can sometimes be a bit too much to ask once it gets too detailed. Perhaps just keep the head separate for a while or at least merge it into a bust instead of the full body.
There will be more info on the retopology chapter soon.

hi Julien, I made a mistake when i join the finger, what should i do if the geometry stick together after i remesh it .{attachment Invalid slug 2020-10-24_105407png - should be a static_asset id}

*@Chien* This is in general an issue with the voxel remesher. The best way to prevent this is to keep the fingers separate for most of the time. Then once you decide to join everything to remesh you need to make sure that the distance between the fingers is big enough and the detail size is small enough.
To fix this afterwards try to undo or mask out the fingers to separate them again for now.
