In this timelapse video I will continue to retopologize the rest of the body.
Hi Guys, could you please help? I have weird transition ((
@Leo Lingua Can you send a file? It's ahrd tot ell from the screenshots.
@Julien Kaspar Hi Julian, thanks for reply, I really love blender studio tutorials I hope it will keep it up.
My problem was that I did not recalculate normals (Shift + N) which created weird vertex transitions! its solved now!
Hi Julien, I have a problem related with shrinkwrap modifier. I mentioned the problem in the video and I can actually solve it with duplicating and applying the shrinkwrap modifier but after that I have to fix my mesh manually in edit mod which is exhausting. Can you help me please? https://vimeo.com/555661445 (video is subtitled)
@Ekin Kılıçdere I cannot recommend to use the smooth brush anymore for retopology. Use the slide/relax brush. It will distribute the geometry way better while keeping the original shape.
@Julien Kaspar I just found out the problem. I should have changed the shrinkwrap modifier's wrap method to target normal project and its snap mode to above surface.
@Julien Kaspar I just realized slide/relax brush pushes the mesh in as well :D I think I will keep duplicating and applying the shrinkwrap modifier :(
@Julien Kaspar Thanks for the reply, now I am using slide/relax brush and it is really much better.
idk what I did but, whenever I extrude or use the f2 add on the patch I extruded goes crazy like it cant find the model that the shrinkwrap is targeted to.
Tutorials too fast can I get a slower version of this tutorial
*@Moncy Yohannan* how many hours a day do you practice. you have come so far
*@Som-Anene Ugochukwu Elvis* 4hrs in a day with some breaks in between the days.
*@Moncy Yohannan* You can also slow down the timelapse videos. They are all 60fps so it shouldn't be too choppy as a result.
With retopology it's more important that you understand the theory and the techniques rather than practice a lot. I personally don't have an insane amount of experience retopologizing but every time I do a lot of research to try to learn something new. If you just practice the same methods over an over again while retopologizing you don't learn much.
*@Julien Kaspar* Thank god I do this... Yippy
